Plans for August

July has been a long, fairly quiet month. Unfortunately the first week was a bit hectic, and it never truly recovered, though progress was made throughout, particularly on the Knights of Aralia as hoped. Christmas in July was perhaps the biggest highlight, despite the modest returns (see my recap here). Nevertheless, I applied to vend at several different kinds of events later this year and into next, so we’ll see what comes of that.

August promises to be a much fuller month, from filling out more show applications early in the month to an extensive 2-week vacation at the end that will take me all over the map: from Kansas City to Denver and Tulsa! In this span of time, I will be attending DenFur the weekend of Aug. 23rd-25th, though whether I will be a vendor there will unfortunately not be determined until the morning of the 23rd itself. I will definitely be vending in the Artist Alley at Tails and Tornadoes in Tulsa the weekend after, though, on Friday, Aug. 30th and Sunday, Sep. 1st, so come and see me if you get the chance. Either way, I am looking forward to this grand expedition and the new, exciting experiences it holds. But between now and then, there is a great deal of work to do. Whether it gets done or not will no doubt determine whether this proves the best month of the year so far…or the greatest failure!

Today is also the last day for 50% off my e-books, so be sure to grab them while you can!
