Plans for December

November seemed unusually long this year. Beginning with the rather lackluster Leavenworth Holiday Market and ending with a whimper, there just wasn’t much to talk about save a bunch of editing in the middle. Progress was made, if not as much as I’d like.

December, as always, will be a month of wrapping things up and preparing for 2026. Some final edits for Knights of Aralia, some further outlining, and perhaps a definitive plan for qhere to take the Sauragia series are all in the offing.

Shepherd List: Best Reads of 2025

It’s that time of again. Every year, Shepherd.com asks authors and readers to share their 3 favorite reads of the year on their website, along with a brief explanation of what made each book so great. Published authors also have the option to submit one book of their own to feature alongside each list, which makes this a unique and free opportunity for authors to promote their work and the work of others via recommendations! If you’re interested in this, go check them out by all means. In the meantime, here’s my list:

Happy Veterans’ Day!

It is 107 years since the ceasefire that effectively ended the “War to End All Wars.” Sadly, this was a grave misnomer, but such is the way of man. To those who give their all every day to keep our land and people free, my heartfelt gratitude. God bless you all, and have a wonderful Armistice Day.

Indoor Holiday Market 2.0

Last November, I attended the Indoor Holiday Market in Leavenworth, KS. It went fairly well, so I saw fit to return. The results this time were slightly different.Continue reading “Indoor Holiday Market 2.0”

Plans for November

October proved another busy one. The first half was full of vending travels and travails, and the second half was spent largely editing and planning. Overall, expensive but productive.

November will be a relatively quite month. Aside from the Indoor Holiday Market in Leavenworth (where I will still be until 4 today!), my vending is done for the year. Thus, I will finally be able to settle into my winter routine of writing, editing, and planning for the year to come! No particular projects in mind (or perhaps too many to list), but I am looking forward to it either way!
