Back to the Big D: TFS 2025

Hello, everyone! It’s been a little while since I made a normal post, for which I apologize. But things are finally settling down after the last couple months of upheaval, so I hope to get back to regular posting again here soon. Beginning with a run-down on last weekend’s experience at Texas Furry Siesta!Continue reading “Back to the Big D: TFS 2025”

!!! Book Release: ‘Knights of Aralia Book IIII’ !!!

This morning, I am pleased to announce the official release of the next installment in my knightly saga: Knights of Aralia Book IIII: The Conquest! This one has been a real struggle, if I’m being honest, but I think the finished product was well worth the time and effort. If you’d like to know more, please visit the book’s page here.

Plans for August

July was another very busy month. However, in between everything else, I managed to review a proof copy of an upcoming book and make some serious improvements to my workspace!

This month, it’s back to business: I’ll continue working on the Knights saga while overseeing the release of my next book: Knights of Aralia Book IIII: The Conquest! Additionally, I’d like to do some more translation work. And of course, for those who didn’t kmow, I’ll be vending behind the Bluedrake Books booth at Texas Furry Siesta on the 15th through the 17th of this month, so hopefully I’ll see some of you there!

Plans for July

I’m a week late on this one, but hope you all had a great holiday weekend! My June was very chaotic between vending in several locales and dealing with some personal issues. But things are calming down now (a little, anyway), and with no more vending until mid-August at Furry Siesta, hopefully I will be able to settle down into some sort of routine again after a month and a half of upheaval.

For July, the things I’d like to accomplish are very basic. I want to continue my progress on the Knights of Aralia series and set my affairs in order so that I can have an efficient and productive August. That’s it. Nothing fancy. We’ll see if it actually comes to pass.

Summer Reading Sale!

Happy first of summer, all! From now through July 4th, all* my e-books will be 50% OFF with select retailers! In addition, all* print books bought directly through this or my publisher’s site will also be 20% OFF, including signed editions! So what are you waiting for? Take a look at my Books page and see if you’d like to make some new additions to your bookshelf today!

*Except for my newest title, Knights of Aralia Book IIII.

Deepest South: Vending at StratosFur 2025

This past weekend, I attended StratosFur 2025, a furry convention in Houston, Texas. While Friday was a bit of a debacle, I managed to get a seat in the Artist Alley on Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th. Here’s how it went…Continue reading “Deepest South: Vending at StratosFur 2025”

The Big One: Fan Expo Dallas

Until this year, I had never been to a comic con as an attendee, much less as a vendor. The largest event I’d ever vended at was Texas Furry Fiesta this April with 8650 attendees, and it went quite well. While Fan Expo doesn’t seem to keep such exacting figures, I’ve read estimates of up to 65,000 attendees at this particular one. Which is to say, it was pretty huge.Continue reading “The Big One: Fan Expo Dallas”

Plans for June

May was a very long, very busy month. It began with Harry’s Hay Days in Grandview and ended with Fan Expo in Dallas (more on that later this week). In between, I made some great progress on my Knights of Aralia series (if not enough for my liking) and laid some plans for the future.

Speaking of which, this June, plans are going to be rather simplified due to some important life adjustments. My entire writing focus will be on the Knights of Aralia series (and churning out another magazine article as I’ve been doing every month so far, of course). Speaking of which, Book IIII is now on pre-order for those interested. Anything else is extra.

For what it’s worth, I will also be setting up for the first ever Food Truck Friday event on the 20th from 6 to 9 P.M. in Belton, Missouri. It will probably be my last outdoor event for the foreseeable future (yes, I booked it before the disappointment at Harry’s Hay Days), and I don’t expect great things, but I am open to pleasant surprises!
