Plans for September

August was another partially successful month. I made progress on a couple of projects, went back to correct some serious issues in a previously published work, and created yet another drawing for a future work. I also did some more research for my nonfiction project.

September, I am hoping, will be a much more fulfilling month. I hope to finish what has been started these last two months, continue my current rough draft, rework an old story or two for possible publication, and perhaps actually keep up with this weblog! More drawing, research, and correcting is to be expected as well.

Additionally, as a way of marking the back-to-school season, I am running another half-price sale on all e-book titles with all retailers now through October 1st. So, between the much-improved manuscripts and ongoing sale prices, there has never been a better time to add to your growing e-library!

Plans for August

July was a bit of a whirlwind month. I had plans and goals, some of which I met: many of which I did not. However, I think it has demonstrated what my priorities are, and what I need to focus on henceforth.

This August, I am hoping to oversee the release of my next book tomorrow, make the next illustration for my book, finish the maps I failed to finish last month for another series, continue working on my current rough draft, and do some editing/review work for my final book of 2021 to be released this fall. Time-permitting, I may continue my research project, continue a translation of one of my titles begun a couple weeks back, and perhaps even see the recording of my very first audiobook! So, with all this excitement in store and a whole 31 days to see it through, I reckon I ought to get started right away.

If you’ve ever been employed (or if you’re a student soon to be seeking employment), you’re already familiar with what a resume is. Whenever you write one, you want to tailor and tweak it as much as possible to suit the individual employer and profession you’re seeking (see last week’s “How to Write a Resume“). Writing a Research Paper

Picking up from my final post in May, I shall continue with the theme of nonfiction writing this month, beginning with the humble old research paper.

The arch nemesis of many a student (and numerous professionals as well), research papers are a fact of life that just about everyone has to deal with sooner or later.
