Marketing Matters: Direct Distribution
Today, I’ve compiled a list of marketplaces where self-published authors and small publishers can “cut out the middleman” in getting their books out there. These are places that can publish e- and sometimes print books directly from the files you upload and the metadata you input. This list is not exhaustive, and I welcome anyContinue reading “Marketing Matters: Direct Distribution”

Plans for June
May was a very difficult month both personally and professionally. The first half of the month was largely consumed with the passing of my sister and the aftermath. Impression or Edition?
If you are like me, you’ve probably examined every page of some books up down and all around. One of the most interesting pages, of course, is that one with all the tiny print on it: the copyright page. Now, there is a lot to examine on that page, but in particular, I’m going toContinue reading “Impression or Edition?”
